KID RA (déb. Ve s.)

Souverain des derniers «Grands Yuezhi» (Da Yuezhi) de haute Asie. Vaincu par les Mongols Ruanruan (Avars) au début du Ve siècle, Kid ra mène son peuple en Bactriane, comme ses prédécesseurs du \KIDARA IIe siècle. De là, et comme ceux-ci au Ier siècle, il pousse jusqu’en Inde, où il installe son fils à Peshawar, l’ancienne capitale de l’empire Kush na, issu des Yuezhi. Vers 450, les «Kidarites» prennent la place des dynastes Kush na survivant dans l’Hindou-Kouch. Mais ils seront à leur tour supplantés avant la fin du Ve siècle par les Huns blancs dits «hephthalites» qui, venant pareillement d’Asie centrale, pénètrent en Inde.
